When reporters first asked McCain about Charles Keating, McCain called them 'liars'

Let's not forget, John McCain was involved in the Keating Five scandal when he was 54 years old. Barack Obama is 47. That means McCain was 7 years OLDER than Obama when he had his Keating Five ethics scandal. That's not a youthful indiscretion. That's a man ten years from retirement age who's doing some pretty unethical things, showing that he has some pretty bad character flaws.

Joe and I will be exploring the Keating Five Scandal all week, and then some. John McCain likes to talk about his character. So let's talk about it. Remember, http://www.azcentral.com/news/election/mccain/articles/2007/03/01/20070301mccainbio-chapter7.html">he was 54 years old when he got himself into this unethical mess.

When the story broke, McCain did nothing to help himself. "You're a liar," McCain said when a Republic reporter asked him about the business relationship between his wife and Keating. "That's the spouse's involvement, you idiot," McCain said later in the same conversation. "You do understand English, don't you?" He also belittled reporters when they asked about his wife's ties to Keating. "It's up to you to find that out, kids." The paper ran the story.

Looks like McCain might have some issues with his temper. Anyone else heard about McCain having problems controlling his temper?

Well, if the McPalin campaign wants to take the gloves off, to quote another failed Republican leader, "Bring it on."

3. I look forward to John and Joe's updates this week.
And Obama sounded like he was warming up some material regarding this scandal during a speech a few weeks ago.

It appears that this won't be the last we hear about this over the coming weeks.

4. You know, the amount of times I've seen this scandal
Mentioned during McCain 'profiles' in the Traditional Media, you'd think that more people would be making this a campaign issue.
