and yet he won handily. Not only could he not "bully" her (how sexist is it that men are expected to not treat women as equals); the bar was set so low for Palin that all she had to do was not be the Palin of Katie Couric and they would have called her a winner.

Yet Biden won handily, not only to informed voters but to the "even also average Joe sixpack". Look at the post debate polls. Biden won by 15-20 points.

Lets keep hammering away though, we know the GOP will go very nasty these last 4 weeks. Plus they will also steal votes on election day; we cannot get complacent.

Under normal circumstances, Ifill would have followed up with the same question...with all due respect Governor, that was not my question...The pre-debate book issue seemed to hold Ifill back. Still, Palin basically bombed. There's little discussion about the debate today. She survived and that's fine. Come Nov 4, more and more voters will find her unqualified and vote Obama.
