22. It's *better* news than PA.
We're supposed to grab Pennsylvania. Virginia wasn't supposed to be terribly competitive. If we take Virginia it is OVER, and a 9 point margin says we're probably taking it.

11. About freaking time we got another MN poll! I'm sick of having it "Undecided"
Give me a break. Like Minnnesota is going to go Republican. Let's get that map fixed up now.

And what about Wisconsin! That's gotta be solidly in our corner too. How about a poll to confirm it.

15. McCain is going to HAVE to do better than that...
to get it close enough to steal. Looks like it might be Ohio again - Obama +2 in the RCP average.

I hope Obama has plenty of lawyers on location, and that he uses them if needed.

20. The historical data probably has McCain staffers' heads exploding
Loved this tidbit:

http://www.time.com/time/politics/article/0,8599,1846065,00.html

For McCain, the most troubling sign may come not from the details of the poll, which are grim for Republicans, but from the historical context. No Democrat has crossed the 50% threshold in the general election since before Ronald Reagan was elected, let alone do so a month before the election.
