DK DIscussion thread

I do not disagree with DK's premise...but the problem is that it does not ease the credit crunch now
Now if you combine that with what the Repuke was saying on DU about changing the rules at the SEC to free up liquidity and fund it through a very small tax on stock transactions and build a 21st century regulatory framework... You might get 60% of both HOuses on board because the solution is alot less toxic to the voters,

Are the house dems and house GOPs capable of coming together to come up with an alternative approach to the economy to challenge the leadership of both parties?

5. The $700 billion is money that is borrowed from banks...
He's saying a top down strategy is wrong. We need a bottom up strategy.

7. This interview needs to be posted here once it's online.
The bailout will only promote more speculation. And violate every free market principal anyone believes in.
