So not the contents of the plan? Just the contents of a speech which will have NO BEARING whatsoever on the actual plan? What a total cop out! They gave no substantive reasons for why their caucus overwhelmingly voted no! Just, a critique on a speech. These people are hopeless!

2. They don't have the guts to tell the truth. That they still believe
in deregulation and the free market, and don't care if it tanks the entire economy.

7. full of contradictions
most of congress were for this bill until one speech (not a change in the bill) caused them to reject it. They really think we are idiots. Also, her partisan speech caused her to lose 94 dem votes. BLAH BLAH BLAH.

8. They're grandstanding
allegedly they've gotten hit with a shitstorm of complaims over this financial bail-out bill. If that is true (and I have my doubts), then their rejection of this bill will benefit them in the upcoming elections (or so they hope). Plus they get to pile on Pleosi and blame it all on us, which is just sugar on top of the dessert for them. That's how they think--when they think.
