I am pleased that Obama
Stopped using "um" "uh" and "ah" after every phrase. Whoever coached him--THANK YOU!!!!

I am also happy that he stopped being so theoretical and got more direct in his language. Again, whoever from the campaign coached him, THANK YOU!!

This was so much better than Saddleback. Obama comes off stronger and more direct now. GOOD JOB CAMPAIGN PEOPLE!!!

1. I agree. He had brushed up on his skills considerably - he was answering with fewer words.

2. That was great.
I know it's a little thing, but it was clear he was coached on his 'Ummmm's'. I know that's his way of pausing while processing the question, but I thought it was nice that I didn't hear but one 'Ah'. He also kept it relatively short and to the point. When the debates began, I did not understand what the hell McCain was saying. He didn't get his groove on (if you can even call it that) until about a third of the way in. Obama always had his grove, but continually improved as the debate went on. His demeanor was impeccable as well.
