Sarah Palin, YES! I Do Feel Kinda Sorry For Her As A Woman! No Wonder She Is Emploding Because :
The Repugs Are Mean!!!!! We Are Not Like That!

Ya Know? What Better Person To Exploit Than This Governor?
Think about it. Of all the states in the union, who more naive than Alaska. Have you been there? Independent thinking people who love the outdoors, not library's. They just needed a female. Christ! They wanted someone that they could mold. Too bad they didn't factor in the mind-set of this poor woman. She's been duped. Out of her league. It's their stupid Repug thinking that picked a dumb, pretty woman thinking that, because she was a Governor, she was smart.
Don't get me wrong. This country should appreciate Alaska's mind-set. Good people that want to be free and live free, but:
This was not ready for Washington Politics.
How very, very sad.

3. Anyone as nasty and snarky as Palin
deserves no sympathy. My only hope is that she continues to make a fool of herself. Let her go down in the flames she keeps fanning.

4. Maybe McCain didn't see how dumb she was
because he isn't that smart either.

She talks like a very shallow and rather stupid person. It was downright unpatriotic of him to put her on the ticket.

33. Hell, she isn't ready to be a clerk at the local 7-11
The convience store owners the world over are sighing in relief that she never applied for a job. Gotta be a lot more smart and honest to do that kind of work.

7. If palen werre to admit she was out of her league I could muster some
sympathy. But she wont. She will continue to say how ready she is and how capable she is.

Sorry, no sympathy here. Except for the people of Alaska who are realizing just what their dealing with.

13. I don't
She has a lot of Chutzpah thinking she was qualified to be VP. Most of us live in the real world and know our limitations. I don't give a rats ass that she can see Russia from her porch. And another thing, who the hell does she think she is that she can just walk in and thinks she's on the same level as Hillary. Hillary put in her time, payed her dues, worked her ass off! Buzz off Sarah Doucette.

You feel sorry for her as a woman? Should women not be in politics? Should female politicians be held to a different -- a lesser -- standard than male politicians?

You sound very young, or maybe there's a different explanation for your post....

20. Dems get very mean too
(The quite unnecessary DU shredding of Hillary being a case in point.) But whatever. We are all beyond that but let's not pretend we are all lovey dovey. That said the GOP official shredding machine can be very cruel.

I could also feel sorry for Palin if it weren't for the sheer horror of the impact of her views.

Feel sorry for the women she let get charged for their rape kits, feel sorry for the people in other countries that she has basically called us to war against and their children. Feel sorry for that guy she got fired and his wife when she took food off their table because he wouldn't do what she wanted. Fuck Her! She cares nothing about you!

She could have said, "I am raising 5 children to be honest and respectful so I can't be your attack dog"

32. A Simple Fact
You should all know what drives the Republican party - fear. Dumb people fear intelligence, like a skinny weakling fearing Mike Tyson. Until there is no longer any reason to fear intelligence, people will continue fighting intelligence.

Elections today are like football games. It's a disgrace. In a game, the worst that can happen is you lose (possibly money). In government, the worst is nuclear holocaust and concentration camps.

Edited on Fri Sep-26-08 06:42 PM by OnionPatch
I realized that the reason you feel sorry for her is because you are a liberal. And liberals have hearts, really, really big ones, and are able to feel compassion even for morons. So kudos to you for still having a heart, but let your brain lead you on this one....she does not deserve your sympathy. Take my advice and save your sympathy for those who do.
