1. If a majority of the Repukes are for it, it will come to a vote.

But, if I were Nancy Pelosi I would demand vote by SIGNATURE before I ever brought it to the floor. You can't trust Republicans to tell you the truth.

2. I like Dodd

First choice in primaries despite questionable ties to state big finance, and then for VP.

But then, I am always WRONG when it comes to political selections.(Tsongas, Bradley, Clark).

Now I have been happy that he is where he is, instead of on the general campaign, using his encyclopedic knowledge of these issues on behalf of our COUNTRY, knowing that not everything is a win win.

Despite a few misgivings about his state and re-election interests, I trust his brains and his vision for the whole country. Dearly hope I am not wrong,
