He loses NH & IA & CO....not likely at all. Or, if he loses MI or PA. Not likely at all.

IA is a lock. CO is an extremely likely win, as are MI and PA.

Obama has much more field presence than McCain, no exact numbers though.

Kansas City & St.Louis (the 2 major cities) are both Democratic. Honestly, the rest of the state is very Republican. So for Obama to win, he needs to run up the numbers in KC & STL (both have over 40% AA population), and keep the margins down in the rest of the state.

14. The African-American turnout is what won him Texas.
They turned out to caucus like it was nobody's business and they'll turn out to vote in numbers that have never before been seen. At my friends' churches, they're being encouraged to vote as soon as early voting opens up so that they won't get caught in some long ass line on election day and no shenanigans will result from that.

There's a local rap/hip-hop station that has been saying the same thing for weeks now. Vote early. Vote early. Vote early. Vote early. Take your neighbors. Take your coworkers. Take your friends. Walk if you have to. GIve people rides. Take the bus (buses are free on election day). Do whatever you HAVE TO DO to vote.

They go over it every morning and evening on that station. And they once interviewed Michelle Obama on the air.

I'm telling you, just watch.

I dunno, but NH seems to be getting swallowed up by MA & VT as the rural areas near the VT border are blue and now the cities and southern areas having been invaded by MASSholes are turning blue as well. NH will be a liberal state at some point. Dems took over the House, Senate, Governors office and both US House seats last election. First time Dems have owned all 3 branches here in like 80 years. I expect some losses this time around, but I think there is a long-term turn to blue occuring here.

37. I hope you work hard for Shaheen too
She should be killing Sununu (sp?) but she's barely ahead (I think +1 in the Suffolk). The Suffolk guy was on WBZ radio last night talking about NH. He said Obama is solidly in the lead even though it's only 1 point (suggesting it's larger than that, and that his organization is so strong he should win). He said Shaheen was more tenuous at 1 point, and that surprised him. He then talked about HRC "Dem" voters: 16% of them are voting for McCain while only 12% are voting for Sununu. He also pointed out that these numbers were almost all male HRC voters.

40. He mentioned something about that
She's saturated the airwaves with negative ads, that don't mention herself at all save for the "I approve this message" part. He didn't think it was backlash but he thinks she's in danger of hitting that point. He suggested she could still saturate with negative ads, but that she needs to start putting out ads about her. She's pretty popular in that state (if I remember correctly.. or at least she used to be) so I'm stunned to see it so close.

42. Well, I can only go by the Boston, WBZ radio market
I hear two ads running almost every commercial break: Shaheen's Sunnunu is Bush ad, and the (whatever group)'s Shaheen raised taxes ad.

I hear Shaheen's almost every commercial break, and the other one once or twice in the same hour.

I obviously don't have the same ear to the ground for this but it seems to have "some" validity.

It was pointed out that Suffolk was the only poll to correctly predict HRC's win, so the guy was given much credence. That being said, I was happy to hear him say that Obama is solid despite leading by the same amount in his poll, and disheartened by his saying that Shaheen is in trouble.

WTF is going on here? Unexcited Republicans becoming energized by Conventions & P* is guessed by Rasmussen. If that's the case, then he'll likely fall just as quickly once reality hits home with the failing McP*W campaign.
