6. Tweety's been asking Kerry questions about Clark since I tuned in.
Playing some clips from Clark's last appearance on Hardball.

Kerry isn't being baited into bashing Clark, he actually seems to be mostly agreeing with him.

Hopefully Kerry won't walk away from the interview saying "Clark, Clark, Clark, Clark, Clark..."

29. that's what bill clinton says too
he says that's just what they believe in. that's their position and what their party is all about. so we shouldn't be surprised, but rather present our side and why it's much better than them. the good thing about this is rather than sounding like a bitter partisan it sounds reasonable and makes good sense. notice clinton always refers to them as "our republican friends". i love it when he does that because he talks about them like they are just pathetic and uninformed and don't know any better. makes them look bad without making our side look mean and partisan.

30. All of our candidates need to face this question head on with a resounding
YES! I don't care who you support, who gets the nomination. I am angry that he said No. And this was sandwiched between Bush's corporate whoring and lying to the American public about Iraq. Not corrupt? Not corrupt? Why isn't the Democratic Party as a whole SCREAMING CORRUPTION?

I know,it's been posted here alot...

but...
not...

33. Corruption implies secrecy, darkness...
... the GOP is straightfoward for what they stand for and who their friends are. Hell, they're proud of it. Bush and his whole Administration... it has officially said that it's campaign contributions are a form of free speech, a form of support, just like any other.

Why isn't the party screaming corruption? From what platform? The GOP has the bully pulpit, both houses of Congress, and many, many loud and obnoxious friends in the national media. They make the context that would marginalize the Democrats in a blitz. Words mean things, especially in Washington.

34. To me...who is a voter, part of We The People, who do have it within
to make a change if enough of us scream. Corruption does not always mean darkness and secrecy:

From the Merriam-Webster dictionary:

Main Entry: cor·rup·tion
Pronunciation: k&-'r&p-sh&n
Function: noun
Date: 14th century
1 a : impairment of integrity, virtue, or moral principle : DEPRAVITY b : DECAY, DECOMPOSITION c : inducement to wrong by improper or unlawful means (as bribery) d : a departure from the original or from what is pure or correct

It should have a picture of the current administration. In my opinion it is extreme corruption because it is flaunted.

I do appreciate your input, but I will still believe that unless people start shouting...from all platforms...this facade will continue. We have to realize that we can do this. We can shout Bush and his cronies down.

18. Kerry is on fire. I don't know if it's the hiring of Mary Beth Cahill or
the surge of Dean, but he's a much, much better candidate than he was a few months ago. He's making a strong, easy to understand link between big money and bad politics. He's persuasive and, contrary to some of the assertions one sees on DU, looking well. I don't know if there's enough time left for him to make a comeback, but the next couple of weeks should be interesting.
