McCain showing up to debate is not enough, it was wrong to threaten to back out

McCain made an agreement to debate tonight and that was a commitment to the voters.

McCain was wrong to even say he would not attend (regardless of whether that was a ruse) because that constitutes breaking his promise, his word.

It shows that McCain does not take his own word seriously, he doesn't take *any* promise or commitment he makes to Americans seriously and that he cannot be trusted --on anything.

He is dishonest, he fails to live up to his commitments and he breaks commitments to try to broker a better deal for him.

No disrespect to you or your comments, it's just that LYING is all they seem to do in recent years, even when proved a lie, they continue. I guess if something is repeated often enough it becomes real, even to them!
