Breaking News From Ed Schultz: McCain Camp insiders say Palin "clueless"

Breaking News from Big Eddie:

McCain Camp insiders say Palin "clueless"

Capitol Hill sources are telling me that senior McCain people are more than concerned about Palin. The campaign has held a mock debate and a mock press conference; both are being described as "disastrous." One senior McCain aide was quoted as saying, "What are we going to do?" The McCain people want to move this first debate to some later, undetermined date, possibly never. People on the inside are saying the Alaska Governor is "clueless."

5. Poor Jennifer Granholm!!! She's the one that has to do Palin in the mock debates with Biden
I mean how does someone like Granholm even begin to debate like Palin? She' have to knock off at least 50 IQ points to come close.

Probably what Team Joe has her doing is running thru every stupid 'Thanks but No Thanks' quote and Joe just comes back with some zingers.

11. Are you serious? That would be the easiest job ever.
You don't have to come up with any substance... just say the following phrases in random order to any question presented...

"Oh, ya know..." and trail off...
"In what respect, Gwen?"
"I'm the country's leading expert in energy!"
"I can see Russia from my house!"
"I'll have to get back to you on that"
"MAVERICK!"

15. It's not easy to be clueless when you're an intelligent woman
This has got to be a stretch for Jennifer. How would she or Biden keep a straight face during the debtes?

19. Naw, the easist job would be doing McCain
Q: What is you plan to create more jobs, Senator?

A: When I was in the Hanoi Hilton for 5 years, nobody asked me about creating more jobs. We've got plenty of good jobs available down at Ginto Bay.

Q: Senator, even though you have repeatedly said we are winning in Iraq, the fact is we still have over 140,000 troops there, we're still spending billions of dollars a week, and the Iraqi people have not acted on any of the major requirements that President Bush defined as being a successful result. I understand you were a POW almost 50 years ago. Can you please take 30 seconds to tell us about that again?

A: Gladly. There I was. I thought I was a dead man, and often wished I was. And then one day ...

See where shootin' from the hip leaves you, John?

The Big Dipper will be heading back to Alaska soon. They'll use her family situation as an excuse.

and she's nice to look at. the old man seriously does not give a SHIT about this country. that is clear by every decision he has been making.. the Palin choice being the major gaffe of his miserable campaign.
