Palin lack of political awareness HAS to be a rope-a-dope for debates, lowering expectations....
...so that she'll exceed them when she answers 1 question out of 2k3j4n234 correctly.

I don't believe she's as disconnected as she has shown during the interviews with Gibson and Couric

Thx

She can't be as stupid as she is portraying herself

6. Assuming you're not being sarcastic.. She's a dumbass..
She's also a professional liar.

I still think she will NOT participate in the debate regardless if it's delayed or not.

11. She wasn't debating Joe Biden in Alaska.
And she wasn't debating issues she doesn't understand.

8. There wont be a vp debate, this whole bailout crisis cancelation was to push off the Debate schedule
After she has performed so terribly on Couric and Gibson, they realized there is no way in hell she can handle even a softball debate.

So McCain did the only thing he could, try to cancel this fridays debate and have it moved to the VP debate and then reschedule the VP debate for a later time, which would either mean it never occurs or it happens too late for it to make any difference.

9. But she's the dope who's being roped by her own campaign.
I agree that the expectations for her at the debates are extremely low. Like Bush, or worse actually, she clearly doesn't have a firm grasp of the issues. She will do what she did in the interviews and repeat lines that she has memorized.

The benefit of the debates (to Palin) is they usually don't ask follow-up questions like they do in interviews, so she will come off looking better than she did with Couric or Gibson who's follow ups really tripped her up. She won't have to explain her answers to anyone.. well, except Biden who HOPEFULLY will ask her to elaborate on comments that she makes.. back them up with some facts in some way.
