He mentioned that VP Cheney was trying to watch a video feed from the "situation room" that was handling the immediate response to the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Dick wasn't able to communicate with Clarke at the WH, because Lynn Cheney kept turning the channel on the video monitor to CNN.
