2. The guy who won on John Adams...
...was going into a rant on how we need articulate men...who can articulate a complex idea in complete sentences...then they cut him off.

4. Thanks! I just posted to ask if anyone heard that. I wasn't listening closely
but I did hear that too and noticed the abrupt cut off.

3. And now they just cut off the guy who directed (?) John Adams as he accepted his award.
Did anyone catch what he was saying? Sounded like something about statesmen like John Adams who used their intelligence to govern or something along those lines... then he was drowned out by music and they cut away. He spoke no more than a few seconds, so I'm sure he didn't exceed a time limit.

5. I was thinking the same thing...he had spoken for maybe 10 seconds...
I was interested to hear what he said...it was about it being ok to have a leader who can speak in complete sentences...
