My God, most people in this country don't know anything about how the SC works. They don't know that presidents appoint the justices, and that the SC is one vote away from overturning Roe v. Wade. Why is McCain and Palin's beliefs in this area not talked about more?

Is it just me, or is this subject scrupulously avoided every four years?

Why is that?

1. I've heard a few TV people talk about that. I wish they would
actually point out that a packed RW SC would be horrible for a lot more reasons than Roe! I agree that the threat to Roe is very serious, BUT a RW SC would also strongly support Corporation over individuals in every case! With that thought in mind, it would hurt ALL of the American people, not just those who are pro choice! Peoople need to understand that!
