Obama attacks McCain: "instead of borrowing my lines he needs to borrow some of our ideas"

http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2008/09/15/politics/fromtheroad/entry4450528.shtml

<snip>

Obama pounded on the podium and pointed his finger as he asked the crowd if they were willing to settle for another four years similar to the last eight.

“When you walk into that voting booth in 50 days - ask yourself can your family afford to take a chance on an economic policy that offers $200 billion in tax breaks to the biggest corporations including the oil companies but not one penny of relief to more than 100 million Americans. Because that’s what Senator McCain is offering.”

Obama also ripped into McCain for using his slogan “Change We Need” in his new ad released this morning. “Let me tell you something instead of borrowing my lines he needs to borrow some of our ideas,” Obama said, “Change isn’t about slogans it’s about substance.”

6. It really is a shame ...
that is a GREAT LINE ... One of a couple dozen he has shot out the last couple of months that just hit dead air and drop to the ground unheard by the country - meanwhile, McCain's Paris ad got a complete two weeks of news cycles, Palin gets press for "first dude" and "lipstick on a pitbull."

Awww ...
