Sarah Palin calls 'hockey moms' dogs.

"What's the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull?" Palin asked.

"Lipstick."

Introducing herself at the Republican National Convention, she uttered what I can only deem to be disgraceful comments comparing hard working American mothers to dogs.

Governor Palin owes an apology to every hockey mom in this great country.

Women that some may consider less attractive physically are often compared to dogs. I mean, it seemed to me her comment was demeaning to particular women based primarily on their perceived lack of attractiveness.

As part of her apology, if Governor Palin wants to say, no, she was calling herself a dog - an unattractive female, then I suppose we could wait for an apology to herself as well.
