Isn't lying a sin?
I don't pay attention to the rules changes because I play in a different league (I'm a secular humanist and an angry lapsed catholic). Even if the rules have changed and isn't a sin anymore what about honor? "I cannot tell a lie, I chopped down the cherry tree." George Washington

2. Well see theres a problem you start out talking about lies then you use
the first political lie ever told, George Washington did lie and the cherry tree story is a fine example of lies becoming a truth. No where in any of the writings on G Washington is there any proof that the cherry tree incident ever happened, the story came out when G Washington was being considered for president. As for what your saying about lying being a sin, its only a sin if caught in the lie or your caught lying to another christian fundie, non believers can be lied to any time.

3. In politics, it isn't half as much a sin as failing to point the lie out.

5. Yes, but it's way down on the list after not grouting the bathroom tiles.
Oddly, both and love and peace seem to be in their Top 10 sins list these days.
