"They must think you are stupid" -Obama
It seems the Repubs know something Obama doesn't.

They know who they are speaking to, the American people. And the YES...they are stupid, the republicans know this and use this to their advantage.

Obama needs to wake up and play the game that NEEDS to be played to win.

He must understand that the American people are idiots. Once he figures out he is speaking to a group of fools he will be able to get his message across better.

11. No I am not joking. Is this post necessary? Will Obama and his people
read it and see the light? Like I said post or do something useful instead of crap like this. Obama will run his campaign. I don't know why people insist on voicing something they have no control over.

15. seriously.
Most americans are clueless idiots. There is little other explanation for the party that has run the country into the ground for the last eight years being ahead in the opinion polls.

Do you have any evidence that would falsify the claim that americans are, in general, clueless idiots?

13. The DU needs to be grounded in reality.
Sure there are smart people on the DU, plenty of them. But this is not the real world. We need to recognize that most people in the real world are idiots.

3. Actually, "They Think You're Stupid" is the best line of the campaign so far.
The Republicans always want you to think that the Dems think you're stupid backwater hicks, it's the basis of the "ELITIST!" campaign they've been running since the Nixon days.

Obama's bringing it home. And people are going to respond to that.

THEY THINK YOU'RE STUPID.

Use it. Know it. Own it.

6. The problem is the MSM
that doesn't call out the Republicans on their garbage talking points.

If the MSM repeatedly says that the Emperor's New Clothes are fantastic then some people will believe them.

9. Yep.
and no matter how much TV these people watch...they still can't figure out they are being manipulated.

They swallow everything that is pushed their way.

16. Just had a thought...
how about re-tooling the neocons' nonsensical slogans and using them against them...

"Republicans hate us for our freedoms"

"Fighting them over there for Halliburton profits"

"Sending jobs over there so we don't have them over here"

etc...

7. "been around the world and found that only stupid people are breeding"
Yes half of America is stupid
Look at what they attack Barack on
He is elitist because he went to Harvard UMMMMM why attack a man for being smart enough to be Magna cum laude (did I spell that right?)

They attack him for being a word smith, whhhhhhhat he knows words other than
drill here drill now
and bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb Iran

Oh yes there are a lot of stupid people in this world
They call Obama elitist but excuse McCain for noting knowing how many houses he has
because he worked so hard to get them. WHHHHHAAAA he left his cripped wife for a young rich robot
but the stupid people don't pay attention to facts
just quick catchy phrases
"My friends fight fight fight"
fight who?

8. It's a great line, my only concern is that Obama has more faith in people than is warranted
Hopefully, SarahMania is a wake-up call for him.

10. I think this is how Bush got in. He picked up on the guy ahead
and ran on it and it worked. If Gore said some thing you could be sure a day later a new back drop would show up behind Bush and he would be saying things to aim at the same people Gore did. Not that Bush did a thing he said he just wanted to get in. I believe MCCain is doing the same. Change worked for Obama so McCain will now use it.

17. It's elitist to imply there's something wrong with stupid
Just call it "common sense" or "real people" or "average" or something like that.
