I know she is scheduled to sit down with Charles Gibson (ABC) later this week. However, CNN has been heavily promoting an "exclusive interview" with Sarah Palin's sister(!) and parents(!)....
If CNN had guts, Jonathan Klein (President of CNN) should have told the McCain campaign:
"Hey, thanks for the offer, but we have no interest in talking to the sister and parents right now. We want to sit down with the Republican nominee for Vice President - not her family. Will Wednesday work? Thursday night? One hour on Larry King? Honestly, until we talk to the Governor - we're not interested in human interest chats with her family."
Instead, they accept this interview with her family and are promoting it heavily.
Media: Come on!!! Insist that there will be no talks with the family of Sarah Palin and refuse any and all surrogates until there are no-strings one-on-one interviews with the woman who could be one 72 year-old heartbeat away from the presidency. This is disgusting. Where is the no fears maverick? What is she afraid of? Joe Biden made the rounds right after his nomination. Why can't Governor Palin?
Simple: No more surrogates until all the networks and cable networks have the chance to interview Sarah Palin. Period.
