4. It is so tempting to become a fan and write:
"At long last, we have found our hive queen."

Just thought everyone should know...

This is a quote taken from an article in the LA Times. You can find it if you visit the site.
And for those of you who are unfamiliar with the term "secession", it means they no longer wish
to be part of the United States; they want to be their own country.

"This is why I am a fan. I think all people this stupid should get their own goddamn country."

"Over the years, Palin has actively courted the Alaska Independence Party, or AIP, an organization
that supports Alaskan secession from the U.S. To be clear, we're not necessarily talking about friendly
secession either: As the AIP's founder, Joe Vogler, told an interviewer in 1991:

"The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government.
... And I won't be buried under their damn flag."

I want to tell her I've donated twice in one week to Obama/Biden. And she was DIRECTLY responsible for one of those donations. :-)

10. I loved this comment...
"If it's true what you say about the difference between a hockey mom and a pit-bull---the lipstick...then, you will do great in Washington! May God grant you the wisdom you need, the tenacity to reach higher, and the ability to take what the press says with a grain of salt. God bless you!"

Huh???

11. So all you need to survive in DC is lipstick and prayer...
Quick, someone tell Biden to go by some lipstick since he has every other qualification that she lacks...

19. I was thinking the same thing as I read the comments...
Upwards of 90% of them were illiterate or typed in chat-speak. I actually cringed at some of them. There were one or two that made a good argument (against Failin of course) but any reply back from an opposing viewpoint was unreadable.

If that's the kind of people McMansions and Failin represent... :puke: We've got to win. If those people are put back in power, that's it, I'm out because my country has gone stupid.

21. Palin is campaigning today in WI with McCain:

By Dave Umhoefer
McCain, Palin fire up Cedarburg crowd

Cedarburg - At a packed street rally here this morning, Republican John McCain used his first post-convention stop to promise a war on special-interest influence and excessive partisanship in Washington, D.C.

"We're going to start to work for the people of this country," McCain shouted. "It's over for the special interests. It's over!"

The Arizona senator joined Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, his vice presidential pick, in front of an ice cream shop on a well-preserved main street the city says is virtually unchanged since 1900.
