I didn't think I was *that* tired, but I missed the entire speech. I take that it wasn't very good because I don't see a hundred threads on it. I'm sure I'll be able to watch it later on today but can somebody fill me in on how he did?

2. Basically.
He lied, like all the others, noun-verb-POW, and tried to disown himself from Bush while (giving what little plans he DOES have for America) saying the exact same plans Bush gave for America. It was very strange. Almost surreal. Anyone else believe Republican turn-out is going to be extremely low this year? I just don't see what they have to get excited about, will they really all come out just to vote for Palin?

3. There's a TV infomercial on cable already selling the speech CD to replace Ambien
as an insomnia cure. Coming soon to Podcast.

4. I watched football for a while, then went to sleep
I heard a great line on Bill Press yesterday morning. He was at rep convention talking to Will Durst; mentioned he was in the crowd and saw kkkarl rove, someone else he knew, was concerned he might have to shake hands with someone. Durst says "eeeww! you might get Republican on you!"

5. A GOP analyst said McCain won't win on oratory

He panned the speech. That was all I needed to hear.

7. You are not alone. We popped in a movie into the DVD player after 5 minutes.
I have no intention of watching what we missed.

10. I couldn't watch it either, but I was wondering about something.
Did they allow the black daughter to go on stage? Or was her father accepting the nomination for president not important enough for her to leave school?

13. John Mccain not only steals artists' music but he also
plagerizes (or absorbs) someone else's campaign rhetoric.

A few words that made my head spin: Change, Washington outsider, volunteerism and community service. I'm sure there's more but I can't bear to listen to him whining anymore.

14. I lasted about 5-10 minutes. Summary: dreadful.
My impressions are that McCain looks very frail and sounds worse. He has no energy and cannot muster any enthusiasm as he talks. The setting was odd: a 'green field' was surrounding him whenever the front ans center camera was on him - what was that about?

I LOVE ME OUR PROTESTORS! Vets declare: YOU CANNOT WIN AN OCCUPATION! CODE PINK IN THE HOUSE AGAIN!

The speech sucked. Even Corpmedia couldn't avoid that conclusion.
