:eyes:

It happened at least three times, as they were escorted out of the convention hall.

1. I posted earlier
that on my local Fox newscast (St. Louis) the political pundit said he thought that whole thing was totally scripted, especially because of McCain's reaction. Makes you think the crowd was in on it too. Seems odd they would just spontaneously break out into USA

2. I believe the crowd was instructed in advance to do that, in case of any protestors or disruption.

12. Good point... They break out the U-S-A chant
whenever someone is being roughed up, or people are being ripped to shreds by bombs.

The right to life party has a love affair with death, and it's all wrapped up in Nazi-styled nationalism.

11. then why is code pink taking credit for it on their website
They claim they were the ones disrupting Palin's speech and I'm willing to be that there will something up on their website tomorrow about how they disruped McCain's speech.

Do you think Code Pink is really a repub front organization?

9. Ironically, the guy who held up the sign....
Edited on Fri Sep-05-08 12:22 AM by GainesT1958
"You can't win an occupation" was an Iraq war vet who spent his TDY in Fallujah. He was a Ron Paul supporter, and managed to get into the arena because a Ron Paul alternate from his home state provided him a pass to get in. He said that he intended to vote for Bob Barr. And, clearly, he was NOT a "plant".

This was--and is--indicative of how John McCain and the rest of the Repub crowd treats Iraq and Afghanistan vets. "Support our Troops" when they can use 'em as props, but not a cent for them when they need REAL help. With anything.

I guess John MCCain can't relate to them, just as he can't relate to someone with only one house who's struggling to keep up with a mortgage. Maybe someone who's an Iraq vet, as well...

B-)
