Comparing four post-Palin polls

from Poll Tracker from TPM Election Central. All polls were taken today, Sep 4th.

GQR (a Democratic firm)
          Obama (D) 49%, McCain (R) 44%


CBS
          Obama (D) 42%, McCain (R) 42%


Gallup
          Obama (D) 49%, McCain (R) 42%


Rasmussen
          Obama (D) 50%, McCain (R) 45%


Average of all four
          Obama (D) 48%, McCain (R) 44%

1. None of those were taken today
Most are rolling averages ending last night...almost all interviews taken before Palin's speech. We won't know until at least tomorrow what impact her speech had.

Dow down several hundred points since McCain announced ... can you say (second) "Worst Selection Ever"?
