McCain Camp to MSM: "the nonsense is over", even AP's Fournier says no: "The scrutiny will continue"

http://blogs.usatoday.com/onpolitics/2008/09/mccain-aide-ass.html#more

Saying "the nonsense is over," one of Republican John McCain's top campaign aides today accused the TV, print and online news media of trying to "destroy" Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin because she isn't "part of the old boys' network that has come to dominate the news establishment in this country."

...

In an analysis, the Associated Press' Ron Fournier writes that it's "not likely" the news media will stop asking questions about Palin.

"The media views its job as scrutinizing her background, helping voters determine her readiness to serve and raising questions about the decision-making process of the man who chose her -- a man, John McCain, who tells voters he has the experience and judgment to serve as president," Fournier says. "The scrutiny will continue, as it always does."

1. There's one thing Repukes can't stand... being held accountable
and the best way to piss a Repuke off is to ask em questions.

Truth, my friends, is our greatest weapon.
That and comedy.

3. Why would you want the investigations to stop if there is nothing there????
It would only waste the time of the reporters. And if there is nothing there it help her in the long run! Weird!

9. Fournier doesn't want to lose his job with anymore evidence of his pro-McCain bias
The stink liberal bloggers and MoveaOn put up over his McCain mancrush and anti-Obama articles

13. McCain had the media's love for decades
It's also funny watching the McCain campaign complain about Rezko. They blew that wad back in the primary season yet now they're trying to shoot that same wad again.
