Huffington Post: Sarah Palin Gets Cover of Us, OK! Magazines

In a continuation of the trend of celebrity magazines covering political figures this presidential campaign season, both Us Weekly and OK! feature John McCain's Vice Presidential pick Sarah Palin on their covers this week.

Us headlines its cover, "Babies, Lies, and Scandal" while OK!, which uses the same photo as Us, but flips it, goes with "A Mother's Painful Choice." Interestingly, OK! goes with a double-cover, seen below, with the alternative cover a picture of Barack and Michelle Obama from Thursday night's acceptance speech, also flipped horizontally, with the headline, "Life With My Girls."...

1. I know which one of those OK covers I'd rather have.
I'm crazy about Malia and Sasha.

2. The point is, the decision wasn't made for Palin
by govt. She got to make that decision herself. For a fetus with an identified disability, a govt could choose to require termination. That is one reason why the choice must remain with the woman.

What if homosexuality later is claimed to be a "disability" by these people who are claiming there is a social war? Would they then require genetic testing to make sure babies aren't gay, and then terminate the ones who are?

Palin made her choice. Let others do the same.
