Disclaimer: As an Australian expat, I've only been following this scene since 2000.

3. I was just going to ask the same question.
Bill Clinton?

Gary Hart?

Wilbur Mills?

Those were all single incidents (well, two in the case of Wilbur with Fanny Fox). This is just a cascading disaster. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it.

4. Ever since 1999 the whole thing has been just nutz
I remember in 1999 W saying when asked about drugs ......
"I made some mistakes in the past but I could pass the test now" ....
after that fake cattle ranches, stolen election, a phony press, 9/11,
and so on ....

The whole thing has been like a strange acid trip
