If I was in McCain's camp right now, I'd seriously be shitting myself.
I can't understand what all the optimism is about. Palin is shaping up to be nothing but a disaster. How long will the spin brigades be able to hold out until they are over run? The spin is getting weaker and weaker by the hour.

There is no enthusiasm surrounding their convention and it is a failure. The coverage of it is pathetic, like a ghost town. McCain is so desperate he is asking help from Ron Paul today, who had previously been completely shut out of the convention. What can go wrong for them next? I think we are witnessing something historic here, the end of the GOP as we know it.
