3. Wants Repugs to see that NYC needs more money for security...
more Federal resources for ports, rails, but given what they have. NYC people have done the best anyone could.

SB smears taken with the knowledge, if not complicity of Repugs...
Quoting John Warner (R) saying Kerry deserved any medal he received

Citing the Counsel of the campaign..telling Blitzer he's "splitting hairs."

Undermining courage of a young man who did his duty for his country...

Talking about the waiting....negative polls....(wrong Wolfie)

Hil repeating that it was SMEARS....the "bait and switch" convention...

same old tired lines, dull. Boring.Blitzer is a fart in a hurricane.

Stand up for what he believes in Bush 52 Kerry 35. I'll fully agree that he stands up for it...and is politically going to pay the price - he doesn't change his mind, such as it is.

Sheesh.

10. She's so well spoken
Some good smackdowns of Wolf. She is so confident and calm. I like how she pointed out that the press is focusing on Kerry's response to the swiftis instead of the fact of the smear. So far, that's my favorite moment in this interview.

Edited on Sun Aug-29-04 11:32 AM by Gloria
SHE IS KILLING WOLF!!!!!

Wolf on "miscalculation" about such a swift defeat of Saddam, no time to plan follow--up

Hillary----that's how he spun it, many knew it.....talking about the money

Consistent but consistently WRONG!!!!

Wants ENTIRE TEAM FIRED ON NOV. 2!!!

SHE IS AMAZING!!!! If she's on every night debunking these shitheads, it will be AWESOME!!!!!

SB ads...wrong and diverting country back 35 years instead of looking forward to see, based on what they've done so far, what they will do in the future............

16. What a hoot?
"Should Rumsfeld resign?" Her response was that the whole team should go November 2nd. It started at the top and so the whole administration needs to be replaced.

And about the 527s. The smear tactics of the swifts is wrong. Keep focus on what the administration has done in the past 4 years, they will continue to do. Wolf's response was a pregnant pause.

Go Hillary! She keeps a laser beam on the real issues and is the perfect choice for rapid response!!!!

20. This after they cut from Bill Clinton's speech for Marc Racicot interview
My letter to CNN:

Once again, you have demonstrated not only questionable news judgment, but coupled it with outrageous arrogance.

How dare you cut away from a speech by Bill Clinton to go to an interview with Marc Racicot, based upon Wolf Blitzer's snide promise to return to the Clinton speech "when he says something interesting." Funny thing - you NEVER went back to the speech, instead, just showed a three-second clip of him after he was finished, as Wolf anounced that Clinton had "just wrapped up."

First of all, ANYTHING that Bill Clinton says is likely to be more interesting than Marc Racicot's ad nauseum, rote talking points. Perhaps Wolf is bored by Clinton, but there are millions of us who are very interested in what he has to say.

Second, I sincerely doubt that Marc Racicot and other Republican surrogates will have any shortage of airtime during the next few days, thus, there was absolutely no pressing need to get him on air instantly today.

And, finally, given your breathlessly positive coverage of all things Bush recently, the least you could do is to present a different point of view. Clinton's speech was an excellent opportunity for you to do that, but obviously that's not your goal.

I have been a long-time viewer of CNN, but find myself watching you less and less as your network turns from a once-reputable news operation to an infotainmnet/FOX pretender. But this latest outrage has turned me off completely and that's what I'm doing to you.

You likely don't care whether I watch or not - obviously I'm no longer part of the demographic you're catering to. But you have lost this viewer for good.
