Does this pick remind anybody else of the rationale for choosing Dan Quayle??
That was the first thing I thought of. Dan Quayle was supposed to be a brilliant choice for appealing to women! Why? Because he was good-looking. Whatever the reasons for Bush I's very unfortunate victory, this was NOT a factor -- it was an insult.

Now we have Palin, another superficial candidate designed to appeal to women for superficial reasons. Once again, the GOP figures, "WE know what women want."

Cracks me up.

9. Thanks for emphasizing that . . .
. . . we should say "anti-choice" instead of "pro-life."

I am vehemently pro-choice because I care about LIFE -- a child's life, a mother's life, the life of the earth and everything that lives on it.

11. To be fair
ALL GOP choices for Veep have been rotten to the core or mysteriously inept, so much more so than the POTUS nominees that they made them look good. This one though is in a new bizarre contrast category all its own. It is so bad I bet most women won't want to see how much a slap in the face it is to the justice of their causes and champions over the years.

Obama's speech made him POTUS. The drama among the other candidates as I predicted with the choice of Biden leaves the depth-less GOP campaign wise just dealing with Biden in a useless flurry of shadow punches.

I am embarassed by myself and DU for not posting more about that awesome, election winning ascceptance speech last night.
