I'm Starting To Feel McCain Had Nothing To Do With This
I think his own party has turned it's back on him, behind the curtain. They know they can't win. He probably begged Mittens and Pawlenty. But the party knows better and they don't want to destroy anyone else's chances of 2012. Unlike McCain, anyone on the VP shortlist probably has a future in politics.

They needed a moose to sacrifice.

5. They only people who glowingly talk about McCain
are the networks. Republicans and their party hate him. And come hell or highwater if they're going to sacrifice one of their real stars to sink on his Titanic of a campaign.

4. Georgia is one clue
Rove openly put himself into that. Got away with it. Said trhey had to have a woman VP, openly. They got one. All they have is a cascade from the bag of tricks in an otherwise lost cause. Expect a lot of high risk surprises culimnating in a mind scramble on election eve to mack election fraud.

Until they crash and burn during one of these MSM covered up episodes of Mondale, Goldwater, Dole landslide redux.

Smoke and mirrors. Worked for the Bushes. ALL smoke and mirrors.
