I lived in Alaska for over 10 years and if they think they're going to at minimum use this woman to gain access to, and drill IN, the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge they've got another think coming.. I spent two years flying around in helicopters there, living in a mobile camp in the bush, even crashed in ANWR, back in the 70's - and that place is one of the most beautiful, life filled places I've ever been.. I'd die protecting it..

Wrote a book about it called "The Jesus Bolt" too bad I can't promote it and be a spokesman for that place and all the animals.. I got to see literally every mile east/west and north of Fairbanks by chopper..

Yeah there used to be a saying up there regarding women like Palin.. "In Alaska you don't lose your girlfriend, you just lose your place in Line.." okay, so it seemed funny at the time.. :)

I like Sarah. I don't agree with her on everything, but she seems like a good person and she kicked out that corrupt bastard Murkowski so I am very appreciative. She also just came up with the idea (that recently passed) to give Alaskans a piece of the huge oil revenues coming in to help pay for our excessive gas and energy prices. I know everyone has been dealing with this, but in Alaska our gas prices are the highest in the nation(still almost $5), and let me tell you our grocery prices, building supplies...reflect that. We have been hurting. And the 'Conservatives' (who love their pork from Don Young and Stevens) are all complaining about this 'handout' for no apparent reason other then they don't want to pay more in taxes.

To create a distraction from the very real and obvious corruption of Stevens and Young(who are going down this november!!!), the 'Conservatives' up here want to Impeach Sarah Palin for some stupid ass firing of some cop. The radio stations and other corporate media totally support the corrupt bastards and are after her because she is not some bought off corporate controlled idiot like they are.

That "cop" was Palins' former brother-in-law Mike Wooten, who was involved in a messy divorce with Sarah Palin's sister at the time. She made dozens of calls to Mike's bosses.

That shows a lack of judgment and temperament on her part and it does constitute an abuse of the power of her office and shows a vindictiveness worthy of our current VP Cheney.
