As someone in another post mentioned, WE SAW HISTORY tonight - let that sink in...
I will not try to quantify where tonight stands in history, but AMERICANS saw history tonight. I think to many it has not really sank in what we saw tonight. Hell, until I read this other DUer's post, it really hadn't struck me yet. It is just starting to sink in - we will look back on tonight for a long time.

Lastly, I don't know about anyone else, but when the Obama children came out on that stage I started tearing up. What an amazing sight that was and to think, what better metaphor could be even imagined than that of being able to watch two children grow up in the White House. It is sort of an American re-birth and should make ALL Americans feel great to be alive.

2. I'm kinda curious as to what the international reaction to this visual American Renaissance.
I mean, I know they love Obama (although I've already detected little bits of snarking already) so I'm curious as to whether or not they'll be more or less positive than our media. The International versus the domestic media perspectives are actually interesting to compare and contrast.

It won't take on its true significance unless Obama/Biden are elected as our next leaders. That's when tonight will be replayed like salt in a wound for some, but for most it will represent the turning point of the populist agenda that will ultimately save and take our country back.

Amen.
