Shit, he's an Irish Catholic boy from Philly. He wasn't old enough to be around at the conventionin 1960 but knows that this is what it was like. He hears the clear echoes of JFK in Obama and swoons. Doesn't hurt that Ted and Caroline were on the O train early,

that's probably why they wouldn't show him on camera; well, that and to hide Olberman's woody at seeing Matthews showing some Dem love.
