You can predict what Zell is going to say at the RNC
Expect this:
"twelve years ago I was in New York City at another convention where I was the keynote speaker. It was the Democratic Convention which nominated Bill Clinton who promised to be a new kind of democrat...In the twelve years since then I have not left my party. My party left me..."

Lets see Zell likes to call himself a fiscal conservative. Well under the Democrats and President Clinton we got out of the red-ink and had the biggest surplusses in history. Under the Bush's we are back in the red and have the biggest deficits in history.

Zell also likes to talk about the flag and service to ones country. John Kerry served in Vietnam and served with honor and has the medals to prove it. George W, served in Alabama and had to resort to pinning on medals he never earned.

We can't let Zell get away with the "I have not left my party...my party has left me" crap. If anything in the 12 years since 1992 the Democratic party has moved more to the center.

1. I don't see how the party is further left than it was in 1992.
And I don't buy the idea that "September 11th changed everything.".

2. When is the deadline to kick Zell out?
He needs to officially endorse Kerry, ya?
