What time is the Springfield rally tomorrow?
I've seen people say 10:00 am, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00...Halperin says "afternoon"...

Anyone have something definitive, in terms of an expected start time?

1. I was told the gates open at noon
So the rally is probably around 1PM central time. There's also a jazz fest of some sort going on downtown. To all who will be in Springfield tomorrow, try to enjoy a horseshoe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horseshoe_sandwich

2. gates open at noon, says here Obama speaking about 2

Barack Obama and his vice presidential pick will take the stage for the first time Saturday in Springfield.
Final preparations are now underway for a rally expected to draw 20-thousand supporters.
Media from around the county started rolling into Springfield Friday afternoon.
Work crews have been busy setting up the stage outside the old state capitol.
Obama fever is truly taking over downtown and shirts are flying off store shelves. Thousands of visitors are coming to town in what could almost be called a pilgrimage. Local store owners say they’re ordered thousands of shirts, but still expect to run out.
Gates open to the public in downtown Springfield at noon. If your planning on coming down don’t bring any signs or bags. The secret service will not let you bring them in, but there are some pre made signs you can pick up after you've cleared security.
Obama will start speaking around 2:00 p.m.

This cartoon copied from above link. Appropriate for the location of the rally. However, we "Older Voters" should know better.
