9. He's always praising McCain...
..and appears to offer Obama rather half-hearted support while publicly claiming that he'd rather he wins the White House. I think it's probably partly due to his pride/ego being hurt by Obama's - necessary - campaign finance choice.

18. doesn't bother me, what interests me is Feingold's voting record, no on the war
no on the patriot act and no on the bankruptcy bill.

19. I've always liked Feingold
but find his constant praise of McCain kind of troubling. He's definitely not on the same page with the rest of the Democratic Party. Feingold also said that John McCain is a true maverick and said something about how he would make a good President or something like that. Maybe he's disappointed in Obama's FISA vote.

Feingold is one of the most progressive Senators. Just because he co-sponsored a bill with McCain doesn't mean he is in the tank for him.
