1. That's how the RW
can avoid the facts. Accuse Snopes of a leftwing bias and the truth can be ignore. Again.

Colbert was right. Truth has a liberal bias.

Being right is a liberal bias these days.

5. personally, I think with my gut
And right now, my gut wants some cereal. But the fact is, my gut says Obama is a Marxist Muslim with a crazy preacher who hates America and who says he won Michigan, and if somebody disproves that to me, well they have a liberal bias.

3. Only if reporting facts is considered biased.
The lack of spin makes it appear to lean "left".

4. Let's reveal some of the leftist lies on snopes:
"John McCain declared during a 60 minutes interview that he was a "war criminal" who "bombed innocent women and children."

Snopes says FALSE so it must be true!

"Recent study proves George W. Bush has the lowest IQ of all presidents of the past fifty years."

Snopes says FALSE so it must be true!

"Texas governor George W. Bush 'refused to sell his home' to Blacks."

Snopes says FALSE so it must be true!

9. I'm pretty sure I still have a shot
If people can still believe in supply-side economics and the tooth fairy, well my supporters can still have hope that I'll win. :)

10. snopes is dedicated to clearing up misconceptions and lies
so this does not surprise me in the least.

It's an accurate assertion. Truth is biased against RepubliCons.

Seriously, remember the last urban legend email you got and ask where it came from. Probably your republican aunt, who sent it to her church group and military brothers and nephews etc. and the only reason you got sucked into it is by virtue of genetics.

Nearly every time my grandmother or stepmother fowards me something, I find the truth on Snopes, and usually, I Reply All with the results. No wonder people are starting to say Snopes is a LW mouthpiece. It opposes every line of disingenuous, misconceived, presumptuous, ignorant, twisted, spun, contrived, misleading, and flat-out false Con bullshit that they eat up daily without question. Clearly, it simply *cannot* *be* *wrong* and therefore the opposing information, regardless of how much research or investigation has been done, no matter how reliable or respected the sources are.

When you are wrong, the easiest solution is to ignore your opponent and continue being wrong.

This is America in a nutshell.

15. I am happy to say I have no Republican family members
I kind of have one, but he doesn't go around espousing craziness. I have a few GOPers who married into my dad's side of the family, but they don't really say much about politics around us. I come from a relatively prominent family of Dems back home (my dad's side) and both my mom and dad's families are from an Indian reservation and Indians are almost all Democratic.

12. Holy shit, that must be the meme going around the 19%er Club!
I got the same lame response in an e-mail war that the 19%er thought he won. I guess, if "winning" meant "responding to all my facts with talking points, flames, non-sequiturs, opinions posing as facts, facts he made up, and shitting on all my sources as 'left wing'" . . .

Witness the insanity: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x3829237#3829606

Apparently DailyKos has no credibility either; even when the link contains a story originally on MSNBC.
