Who here thinks McCain's hints at having a pro-choice VP is just
a way to panic his base so that they will accept a Romney VP with less fight. Cause the base came out a few weeks ago and said Romney was unacceptable. ????? IMHO

1. Maybe... I think it is also a ploy to try to emphasize his
"maverickness," in that he would defy the fundy base.... like it would endear him more to the non-fundy voters.

3. That's a reasonable line of thought.
Ironically, if McCain picks Ridge he can win, but will likely lose with anyone who the right likes.

But the pugs will be concerned with the effect of a pro-choice VP on all the other down-ticket races in districts that need nut-right turnout.

It would be nice for the nut-right to actually hurt the pugs for a change.

4. He's flirting with the pro-choice Repub and Indy women
and is attempting to mislead them as to his intentions . But in the end he'll settle down with an anti-choice VP.
