Video and article: KY delegate says "Obama Nomination Not Official"
I have often said that the FL and MI primaries were still ongoing in their divisiveness. They were never able to end because no one in my state, no one in the Democratic leadership told the complete truth about it.

This video about a young Kentucky delegate who will not vote for Obama and who considers him as "not official" is rather sad.

Kentucky Delegate Says Obama Nomination Not Official

The Kentucky Democratic Party response is that each replacement delegate is pledged to Clinton. Murphy said he's one of many national Clinton supporting delegates not conceding anything yet.

"I feel the Democratic Party leadership has failed the rank and file," he said. "As a delegate, I'll be voting for Hillary Clinton."

Murphy said he has nothing but respect for Kentucky Democratic Party Chair Jennifer Moore. But he also feels the early Democratic state caucuses were skewed to Obama, and the Florida and Michigan primary outcomes were unfair to Clinton. Murphy also said there are many Democratic delegates like him across the U.S. who may not be standing hand-in-hand supporting Obama after the last ballot.

There is a video of Tyler Murphy and more about his formal rules challenge.

3. What an ass-hat. FL & MI eliminated themselves from the primaries
Edited on Tue Aug-19-08 02:11 PM by bushisanidiot
Obama or any anti-Hillaries had nothing to do with that.

If the Obama camp had tried to claim that FL & MI primaries shouldn't count had they NOT been warned, it would be a different story. But, both FL & MI were warned BEFORE primary season what the consequences were for moving their primaries, and they went ahead and violated the rules anyway. No way can they claim "unfairness" to Hillary or to any other candidate.

4. The video cuts off early
In the original broadcast (which I watched and posted about yesterday) , the anchor mentioned that they asked whether he would vote Obama or McCain in the fall.
And they say Murphy said he didn't know.
You can hear them start to mention it just as it cuts away,
WSAZ used to post full broadcast transcripts - maybe worth tracking down and passing on to the folks running the DNC
