Cool short article under "Campaign Notes" in the Boston Globe entitled N.H. contractor lands on Obama milestone

Ed Prouty, a heating and air conditioner contractor from Atkinson NH was the two millionth contributor to Barack Obama's campaign. Late last week, he got a surprise call from Obama. The audio is posted on the Obama for America website.

PARTIAL TRANSCRIPT

OBAMA: "It's folks like you that really helped make this campaign work. It's a wonderful symbolic moment for us."

OBAMA: "How's business going?"

PROUTY: "Terrible. We're just hanging on. This is the worst we've ever seen" in 25 years in business."

OBAMA: "We've got to put people back to work."
