Too funny that it mentions Bush AWOL, which was totally ignored in 2000, and when it first came up this year it was when Peter Jennings left his podium and slapped Wesley Clark in the face (literally!) for not distancing himself from Michael Moore's slander.

4. Sorry...That Pity Party Is Over!

The other night I was shocked when I got an email from an old online debate "acquaintance". A Repugnican who was all but despondent in her evaluation of things. And she claims she's a "pollster" and "media consultant".

Her take is Bunnypants and Rove take a lot, expect a lot, give very little. The "discipline" that looked so good 4 years ago is now a real pain in the ass and a lot of promises that have been made haven't been kept. This is a "whatcha done for me lately" thing and the base of the Rove machine has been eroding for a while and we're just witnessing another step in the denial process that will eventually lead this author to the desperation my "friend" the pollser is showing.

Ain't it a bitch when any spin or lie could just pass along into the media and become "fact". Iraq = Al Queda...and 75% of Americans believed that lie??? I just wonder what made me so damn smart or clairvoyant to be in that other 25%???

The kharma train is rolling and there's some GOOP butt to kick. Either lead, follow or get out of the way!

5. You know what's a pisser?

I would agree that, by and large, most actual journalists are liberals. No conservative in their right mind goes into journalism cause the pay is lousy. It also takes an inquisitive mind and a desire to help others, two more characteristics foreign to conservatives.

However, journalists are trained to try to be objective. When a liberal tries to be objective, they generally overcompensate for their liberal bias by pretty much pandering to conservatives. In the interest of 'fairness', they will allow crap like the SBV to get away with lying through their teeth, and just present it as 'one side of the story', regardless of whether there is overwhelming evidence that they are lying.
