There are folks out there sending spoof text messages saying Obama has picked Hillary as VP etc. making it sound as if they are from the campaign.

That is all.

3. People put that number in parentheses or something in their message, and make the copy sound legit.

Of course wired up political junkie reads the message, gets all excited. They are sent through a spoofing site.
