1. If given an audience, all politicians will pander. It's just the way it is.

2. Unfortunately, Obama didn't try to pander at all.
He was way too obtuse and circuitous. He's gotta learn how to give an answer, and then explain what he means, instead of rambling until he reaches a conclusion that is not always clear.

5. I said "both equally"
Because Obama threw welfare under the bus to score expedient crossover points, and that's practically a cardinal sin with me. The poor were an easy sacrifice and he went for it. "Dignity of work" my grubby ass. Welfare DEform is a disaster.

He's still got my vote, of course. McSame is simply not an option, and neither is staying home.

8. Why wouldn't he?
Thomas is a Repuke and a nasty piece of work. In order to throw someone under the bus, they need to have been on your bus to begin with. Clarence Thomas was never on Obama's bus.

9. Welfare as it was prior to reform was killing families.
Welfare to work was a good thing, just that certain safeguards were not put at a high enough standards, such as child care, etc....
