It's a GREAT idea for Obama to offer supporters 1st info on the VP!
Not only does it give his supporters a heads up on what he's doing, but since it's only available via cell phone, he gets a whole lot of cell #'s that his campaign probably has no other way of getting!

4. I'm not quite sure what an online Slactivist is, but I was disappointed
when I clicked the link in the email only to find that this info was only available to cell phone users! I don't have one and don't want one! I guess I'll have to depend on DU to let me know what the text message says!!!

7. A Slacktivist?
(1) an on-line political activist that adds no value to the political process other than taking up bandwidth.

(2) Self-pontificating posters in any on-line Echo Chamber where real ideas are purported to mean something, but where most users with said ideas are relegated to not being in "the tribe".

(3) those who state they are a member of the Big Tent Democrat Party, but hate the idea of a Big Tent.

(4) Nowheresville.

8. Well, thanks for calling me an idiot! TS. I still think you're wrong.
Every organization would love to have a lot of cell #'s and you do know every campaign has internal polling, don't you?
