I may be wrong but it's looking increasingly likely that Obama will choose VP just before convention
I don't think he's going to announce Bayh today. The news said it may be an audition just to see how they look together, but that's normal. I can't see him trying to compete with the Olympics in choosing a VP, and the games start on Friday. My guess is that he will select his running mate on the Saturday before the convention begins and they will come triumphantly into Denver together for the convention.
