He has got to make a mistake.
This is too good to be true. This is too good to last. This is too good for our country. This is too good for the world. This is too good for me.

But he won't make a mistake. He's too good.

Go Obama!

3. I believe Obama will do some good. BUT I think he did make a mistake
his vote for FISA. I think that was the worse mistake made.

I was never a Hillary supporter... I am like you I want to believe that Obama means everything he says but it seems too good to be true.

I'm just waiting for the first 100 days in office. If he wins the Presidentacy I do believe his true motives.

Sorry to sound wishy washy but I'm tried of hearing the talk and no one walking the walk.

9. It is my opinion. Sorry next time these post are made perhaps
it should be noted that a person should only give glowing reviews and honest opinions should not be voiced on this thread.

11. Agreed
Your opinion is just as valid as anyone else here. I agree with you about the FISA vote which is why my meager campaign contribution to Obama has been redirected to the ACLU to combat FISA in the courts.

15. I mean that the OP is talking about making a mistake while he is abroad...
So talking about FISA in response to this OP doesn't make sense.

18. I see what you mean and i am sorry for the mistake I made BUT I'm
not just looking at Obama and his doings and whatnot overseas I'm looking at the Candidate in a whole and well, He's doing the right things overseas but he made a major fumble with FISA. Let's face it some people are watching Obama and as my wife brought up in a conversation she had this morning (Wife's friend is from England) "How can he be so perfect when talking to foreign leaders yet fail the American Public on FISA".

Believe it or not a lot more Foreign individuals are watching Obama and McCain and judging ALL their actions as a whole.

23. fair enough, I just think his FISA vote was far too complicated an issue
to say that it was a major fumble, given that it was a calculated decision based on the fact that He has to win the Presidency, above all else.

25. I actually read the FISA so I'm supportive of Obama's choice.
That being said, I do agree with you that this isn' tthe thread for this argument. On another note, I don't think we have to much to worry about in relation to gaffes abroad. He's a good guy and doing well.

10. I think the OP is referring to his trip overseas, and the media gasping in the air for a gaffe.
Edited on Mon Jul-21-08 07:29 PM by ErinBerin84
I think many on here think that the FISA thing was a mistake, but so far, it seems like the overseas trip has been pretty much smooth sailing.

13. Where does it say that in the OM?

I took it as the OP is saying that Obama has never made a mistake, and I think the person above (the FISA thread) thought the same thing.

I agree that Obama seems to be doing very well on this overseas trip. :bounce:

12. the media is banking on it ...
the media is happy to be along for the ride ... so that they can do their job and destroy the campaign of Obama because he raised an eyebrow at the wrong moment ...

Meanwhile, John McSame can be caught in the Larry Craig stall with Joe Lieberman doing "Brokeback Airport", and suddenly the RWers will stop clamoring for their boy to be covered ...
