HMM Now that WAS an interesting turn on a well worn meme
Usually it is the insert politico here, is truly just one more of them and not truly unique

I was expecting the media to roll it with Obama with the usual flip flop all time hit of 2004

I was a tad surprised to hear it used for BOTH McCain and Obama during gregory's show... it had me going HMMM and perk up

Now the media is going to paint BOTH as average politicos? Discuss

(And yes we must start asking what is behind this?)

1. Perhaps they are taking back lost ground?
With BushCo on the way out, perhaps they are digging their heels in and refusing to be intimidated? I would imagine many on the McCain/BushCo side would try. Perhaps the media realizes Obama WILL be in the White House next year.

2. yeah but they painted both as average... that is what got me going
I expected the flip flop meme since it started truly yesterday, but was strong this morning on NPR... but they are both average...

My thought, they are trying to suppress expectations. That will suppress the vote.

Hey that's it... they are both the same.... sound familiar?

4. I know and this is the only reason why I watch this any more
or report on memes floated on NPR to the derision of many here.

I don't care if this is Juan Williams, or David gregory... we need to watch for them and the framing

5. Absolutely!
How can you wage a good war if you don't know what the enemy is up to?

Framing is insidious. It takes some savvy to see it sometimes.
