OK, who keyed this poor bu$h supporter's bumper sticker?
Some bu$h supporters out of Woodinville, Wash., are selling t-shirts claiming that a supposed Democrat/Kerry supporter and "person of tolerance and diversity" keyed their bu$h/cheney 2004 bumper sticker. They say they sold well at the Washington GOP convention and are going national.

I saw a banner ad to http://www.authenticgop.com/ on the Washington RightWing Rag Moonie Times site.

The shirt reads in part, "A person of tolerance and diversity keyed my car."

Then it shows a keyed bu$h/cheney bumper sticker.

As someone on another blog said, the "keyed" effort could be a subliminal campaign to boost the appeal of Alan Keyes, who is way behind Obama in the polls.

Seriously, how do these wingnuts know a "person of tolerance and diversity" keyed this sticker? Did they find out who did it, certify that person as someone of "tolerance and diversity," and then press charges?

Maybe it was just a random act of vandalism. Maybe it was done by some bu$h supporter as a dirty trick to blame it on a Kerry supporter.
Or maybe it was done by someone like me, a person of tolerance for most people, except for bu$h-supporters. Then they would have to change their shirt to "A person of tolerance for most people, except for bu$h-supporters, and diversity keyed my car."

The GOP site also shows another shirt equating a vote against bush as a vote supporting terrorism and bin laden, but hey, the site doesn't claim to be tolerant itself. I actually saw some bu$h asshole wearing this shirt at an outdoor film festival in the DC area. The shirt claims that "10 out of 10 terrorists support anyone but Bush."

Anyways, I hope whoever did this dastardly deed to the bumper sticker confesses. Because I, for one, would like to thank that "person of tolerance."

1. I recommend
putting a Kerry/Edwards sticker over the top.

Took my step-mom a month before she caught it.

Not that I did it or anything....

That's great! I didn't have to cover up my dad's. He let me put a John Kerry sticker on his truck. That's REALLY BIG. He has supported the Republican ever since I can remember. My mom and him used to argue about Bill Clinton all the time. My mom and I used to catch my dad's faxes from Newt Gingrich and shred them!

5. I think you're right
on the sticker being photoshopped. It looks fixed, like most everything else with the repugs.

7. I read a post on another site about a bush supporter who assaulted
the car of a woman who had a Kerry yard sign showing in her back window, as she was sitting in the car. This is what she wrote:

"I just felt it was important to share what happened to me, mostly because I live in very liberal California, and it makes me afraid for those in the red states.

I've had full-on influenza for the past couple weeks. I drove to the market and my son went in. My car windows were open. A guy pulled in next to me and said, "What's that graffiti on your window?" (I have a Kerry/Edwards yard sign in my back window.) I thought I must have misunderstood, so asked him to repeat. He said, "What's that shit in your window?"

I very calmly and respectfully said, "Sir, I am entitled to have an opinion that is not yours." He started screaming and swearing at me. I closed my car windows, turned up the radio, and buried my face in a book. He got out of his car and was pounding on the top of my car, screaming and swearing.

I was alone, so I just ignored him until he was done and went into the store. I reported it to our local police."
