Some bu$h supporters out of Woodinville, Wash., are selling t-shirts claiming that a supposed Democrat/Kerry supporter and "person of tolerance and diversity" keyed their bu$h/cheney 2004 bumper sticker. They say they sold well at the Washington GOP convention and are going national.
I saw a banner ad to
http://www.authenticgop.com/ on the Washington RightWing Rag Moonie Times site.
The shirt reads in part, "A person of tolerance and diversity keyed my car."
Then it shows a keyed bu$h/cheney bumper sticker.
As someone on another blog said, the "keyed" effort could be a subliminal campaign to boost the appeal of Alan Keyes, who is way behind Obama in the polls.
Seriously, how do these wingnuts know a "person of tolerance and diversity" keyed this sticker? Did they find out who did it, certify that person as someone of "tolerance and diversity," and then press charges?
Maybe it was just a random act of vandalism. Maybe it was done by some bu$h supporter as a dirty trick to blame it on a Kerry supporter.
Or maybe it was done by someone like me, a person of tolerance for most people, except for bu$h-supporters. Then they would have to change their shirt to "A person of tolerance for most people, except for bu$h-supporters, and diversity keyed my car."
The GOP site also shows another shirt equating a vote against bush as a vote supporting terrorism and bin laden, but hey, the site doesn't claim to be tolerant itself. I actually saw some bu$h asshole wearing this shirt at an outdoor film festival in the DC area. The shirt claims that "10 out of 10 terrorists support anyone but Bush."
Anyways, I hope whoever did this dastardly deed to the bumper sticker confesses. Because I, for one, would like to thank that "person of tolerance."
